Unboxing the printer

The packing materials in and around the printer should be eradicated for a proper HP Printer setup. From the control panel, get rid of the stickers, tapes that are left inside the input tray door. Recycle all the packing materials.
Connecting power cord

Replicate the above steps for installing other cartridge. Close the ink cartridge access door. If the page printed is aligned correctly move to the next step. Otherwise, touch Setup on the control panel. Select Tools, and then touch Align Printer.
